1930    8pm  first Transmission
 50 Watt transmitter built by engineer  Morris Israel (station engineer) and located on former Geelong Advertiser Building.   
Studio located above Suttons Music Store.

9:30am - 11:00 am
2:00pm - 3:00pm
7:00pm-10:30pm

1931    Reg Gray joins as advertising manager and announcer
First Sponsor - Bright and Hitcock department store
1932    E J Haynes joins
1933   Jack Matthews joins as engineer under Morri Israel
1938   Studios relocated to 4James St Geelong
Transmission power increased to 500 watts and relocated to Heyers Rd, Grovedale. (now occupied by Community Centre)
1949   Transmitter increased  to 1000 watts 
1977 
Reg Gray retires as General Manager
Terry Tayler joins as General Manager
1980  Reg Gray Retires from Board (ceases all formal association with 3GL and Geelong Advertiser) 
1990         (Jan) 3GL Close down - KROCK Start Up
